Anthony & Brittney wanted a cool, urban environment for their engagement session so downtown San Diego was a perfect spot for them. We ran around the Hard Rock hotel and took a lot of photos there along with some other areas nearby.

Biggest.......cupcake...........ever!

Kids are always soooooooo much fun at wedding. This one absolutely loved the camera and smiled whenever she saw one of us nearby. I asked her to take the biggest bite she could out of that cupcake (with mom's approval of course) and it looked like she enjoyed every second of it.

Mike & Kim at Calamigos Ranch

Mike and Kim tied the knot at Calamigos Ranch this past May and it was an amazing wedding. They both flew in from out of state so the first time we had a face to face meeting was on the day of the wedding. We "clicked" immediately and had a ton of fun with them.

The ceremony was in a garden setting, nestled in between some trees and made for some really nice photos. Location, location, location!

Megan & Jason at Wayfarer's Chapel

Megan and Jason recently got married at the Wayfarer's Chapel which is such a great location for a wedding.

The chapel is surrounded in glass and the natural light is always amazing.

We had a ton of fun with Suzie and Brett during their engagement session. It was FREEZING that day but they were great sports the entire time.

I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! Not more than I love Amanda and Jaco :) They were so cool and so much fun to capture!

How much fun is the color teal??? I think it's a completely underused color and so bold and classic. Amanda looks like she's straight out of a 50's bridal mag. Isn't she adorable?!

Sammy and Angela are hitched! The setting was on a rooftop Japanese Garden in the middle of Little Tokyo in Los Angeles. It was a perfect day for a garden wedding...

So much detail for the eyes to feast!!!

The Photographer and His Woman

Steve and Ragon were instant friends. We could not stop laughing and our shoot lasted the longest in our history of e-sessions. They have amazing hearts and the BEST personalities to boot. Plus, Steve is a mega talented dude with a photo biz of his own. We were flattered to be hired by such talent!

We were down at the Venice Beach canals...and in back alleys. We love alleys!

They were so cute together! Ragon is a natural Irish beauty.

This is only PART of their zoo of animals. They have 4 cats, a ton of fish, a turtle, and 2 doggies. That's a FUN house to be at!

We just love our Steve and Ragon! Can't wait for their WEDDING!!!

Jon and Beth were happily married March 1st of 2010. It was a happy day indeed! St. Regis was AWESOME as always but Jon and Beth made it especially great! Their energy was high and they were so beautiful to photograph! Yes, beautiful.

Details...these are the things that we photographers appreciate! They also take so much time to put together that sometimes our bride and groom never have time to take it all in.

Beth is an amazingly beautiful bride! She's like an art piece.

The crazy bridal party...aren't they crazy looking??? They were certainly having fun during the reception.

It's all about putting these actors through some sour candy fun! We love Jon and Beth...they're game for ANYTHING!!!

They live in the coolest part of Downtown Long Beach in a highrise condo that suits them so perfectly. These two doctors met in college, fell in love, and now want to get hitched! We spent a LOT of time with them during their e-session getting to know them and their lovely city they call home.

Their urban neighborhood was a perfect backdrop for their personalities and lifestyles.

They certainly felt at home and very comfortable. This parking garage was so busy with people coming in and out that we had to make it work! The lines were spectacular and modern looking...totally fitting with the decor and style of their home.

The color was awesome EVERYWHERE...

The nightcap was AWESOME!

Gideon and Kristine love CSUN

As you can see, Gideon is nothing without Kristine. She makes him who he is. When we met Kristine and Gideon we ended up chatting it up for a couple of hours. We knew we'd be instant friends like our love for instant noodle soup as college kids.

They met in this very classroom!

I loved her shoes!

1. He was born in Israel

2. He's playing a guitar (though he usually plays Bass)
3. He is the ex-bassist for the band Goodbye Valentine

Ally and David Engaged in Laguna Beach

I love Ally and David. They're love for each other and respect for the Lord was very much a part of this e-session. They had a LOT of fun together and were determined to have fun on their shoot! Their personalities completely compliment each other and we felt honored to capture them goofing around.

We were able to run all over Downtown Laguna Beach.

After our urban fix we headed to the beach.

Her eyes are worthy of showing off. :)

After sunset is when the REAL colors come through and the moodiness sets in.

Eduardo and Azadeh Wed in Corona

Eduardo and Azadeh met at their workplace and fell in love. A bit of an unlikely match given he was her boss at the time! They were very much in love and so fun to watch on their wedding day! Eduardo said he was the luckiest man in the world to have the most beautiful bride by his side. She was his GORGEOUS little Persian princess!

It rained on their wedding day so we were a bit constrained to use indoor elements. It was still a gorgeous day and EVERYTHING was green!

We had a lot of fun working indoors. There were some really interesting hallways and building touches that lended itself to an art gallery feel. This was a great indoor wedding!

Stella's Parents Engaged!

Marilyn and Todd couldn't be more happy with the arrival of their little one (yes, the Frenchie named Stella). They love her so much they want to give her a brother or sister soon... another French Bulldog, of course!

They live in the Canyon Lake area and are surrounded by a beautiful lake and these crazy rolling green hills. So we stole some shots right after the rain and it was so bright and clean.

This is their neighborhood. It's amazing to see what people have in their backyard! This amazing and peaceful setting is home to this super cool family trio.

Engagement Sessions are better with Dogs

Steve and Vy are loving on their 'practice' kids. Why can't all e-sessions include the furry four-pawed mugs? They are all so photogenic!

One of the best things about an e-session is showing people who you really are. Your personality out of a wedding dress or suit is what we try to capture. The true 'essence' of what you do in your normal every day life is what it's about. Steve is a big hockey guys...Vy likes to watch. She is the only tiny Vietnamese girl that can play hockey in heels...hands down!

They like riding too! Those crazy kids...

Vy is the most adorable bride...we can't wait to see her brided up!

Valentine's Day with Adam and Brenda

Could there be a better way to spend V-day? Witnessing two people come together for the rest of their lives is a special event. The score here is the fact that neither of them will never forget their wedding anniversary! Adam and Brenda were so excited to be married and it just made sense since the past 10 years together have been bliss! Yes, I said bliss.

The Mission Inn is spectacular...day or night. Downtown Riverside is really a must see because of this place. Brenda was so gorgeous she made Adam grin from ear to ear!

The bridal party had 'pop' with the bright blue colors and deep red colors. This has to be one of my favorite color combinations.

This room was so slick and so full of history!

The end of the night was perfect...

Santa Monica Bliss

Borchien and Laura were referred to us by the bridesmaid on the far right, Jen. Not only did we enjoy photographing Jen and her husband Joe (who are on baby number 2) but we found that their friends were so much fun to photograph as well! The energy was high despite the frigid January weather. They were all so easy going and loving the day as much as Borchien and Laura. This was a group you just want to be friends with forever. Really!

Laura was a classic beauty.

Janel and Jamie were so creative in their whole vision of their wedding. Being that they are Lord of the Ring fans made it even more special! Janel's jewelry was an exact replica of a piece taken right out of the movie. Being that Janel is also a photographer made it really gratifying that we could serve another creative professional! Jamie was quite the 'model' that day making Janel feel even more beautiful and confident on their big day.

The Courtroom Wedding

Mike and Coleen are not 'typical' by any means. They had such a low key wedding that fit their laid-back, minimalist, and quirky personalities. How awesome is her dress?? She was glowing and Mike couldn't have been happier that day! The Santa Ana courthouse was their wedding venue of choice followed by a cool, lounge style reception at Jason's Restaurant. Both were walking distance from each other so we all did a small hike to and from the courthouse! They are expecting their first child very very soon! Congrats to them both!

They saw each other in a secluded alley!

It was a historic and beautiful courtroom.

It was a perfect evening in every way. Even for us 'working'! FABULOUS food at Jason's...they also cater!

Doug and Kathy's Casa Romantica Wedding

Before this little angel cake baby came along we fell in love with Kathy and Doug. They were crazy in love planning their wedding and Sophia popped up! She was such a stunning addition to their big day and really made this wedding super special. We had an opportunity to shoot them prior to their wedding as a family and Sophia was nothing but smiles...just like her parents! If I could clone her I would. :)

Their ceremony took place at San Clemente's Casa Romantica during sunset.

The NON Ritz Carlton Ritz Carlton Wedding

When you think of the Ritz Carlton you think of a wedding that is very formal and 'traditional'. Danny and Renee are NOT formal people but chose a very posh location to get hitched. After 10 years of courting it was just 'time'. Her chic JCrew dress (with pockets!) was so stunning and casual. It was fitting their low key, no frills, and fun personalities perfectly. She even ended up in pink chuck taylors for the reception! Danny was her perfect accessory that day! He was dashing as well.

They chose to see each other prior to the ceremony. It was awesome!

Jay -N- Amber!

Okay, so I love them for so many reasons. Jay and Amber couldn't be more loving towards each other and people in general. They love life and enjoy each other's company so much that it's almost sickening! Seriously, they truly care for each other and it's a beautiful thing to see such a genuine love and affection for each other...it's almost contagious! I hope they have a bunch of babies that we can photograph for years to come! ;)

They were married at Pines Park in Dana Point and later had their reception at Cannons Restaurant. The food and staff are GREAT!

Arizona Natives in Laguna Beach

The young adult 'children' were really happy to see their mom, Cathy, marry the love of her life, Brad. The nuptials took place at the Surf and Sand Resort in Laguna Beach where the weather is always beautiful and made for killer sunsets. It's no wonder they chose to have their wedding outside of the desert and onto a different kind of sand!

I love beach weddings. I think they are the least formal and least amount of stress all around. How could anyone get bridezilla at the beach when you've got ocean air and waves crashing nearby? Andrew and Kali are so great because everything about them is 'chill'. They both went to University of Hawaii (a lot of my family graduated from that place) and just so happens to be where their love story developed. I love Kali's smile and how well they both interacted with each other in photos. They were both so natural and LOVING the camera!

We had the honor of capturing Ray and Griselda’s wedding on August 1st of this year. They got married at a really cool wedding site in Santa Ana and let me tell you, the place was amazing. It was lit so well that we were able to take some awesome photos, especially after it got dark which makes it a prime spot for a wedding in Orange County. Ray and Griselda both had a great time, with a short ceremony and a long celebration afterwards. Congrats to you both!

A Malibu Wedding with Dr. & Mrs. Janis

Ryan and Amanda could not have been more than smitten the whole day! When they had their first look they were completely enamored with each other. Their Malibu wedding was chic and fresh. They picked up an amazing vocalist from downtown Santa Monica (who has recently landed a record deal) to sing during their cocktail hour and dinner reception. He was so good that he fooled many into thinking it was the DJ playing Nat King Cole! Everyone was having a great time including us wedding photographers!

“Preston Loves Lauren” Day

What a blessing to see them unite! Preston and Lauren are one of the sweetest couples we've ever worked with. Lauren was a gorgeous bride who was incredibly organized and put a lot of time and planning into their big day. A lot of detail and love went into it. Preston is very fortunate to have married such a savvy bride who certainly knows EXACTLY what she wants. After getting through all of the wedding day stress, the two were happy to escape to their honeymoon and enjoy their first days of marriage together. I really love being a wedding photographer in Southern California! How fun is it to enjoy a traditional church wedding and then having a private moment at a game booth! I just LOVE it when two Christians marry! These two are so perfect for each other and completely cool and collected. My favorite moment was during their vows when the pastor turned to Chris and asked, "do you take Kelly to be your bride?'" Chris immediately and confidently said, "absolutely!" I'm not a sap but that was absolutely a touching moment for me and I'm just the photographer! I think it even made the moms cry a bit. They were so elegant and such a fantastic couple to follow around that day.

Marites and Chris have a thing for style and a mild shoe obsession. All the men were decked out in the coolest Nikes courtesy of the bride and groom and you could tell that no expense was spared on their bling wedding. This Orange County wedding was nothing short of fun and eye candy. It had to have been one of the most well-planned weddings we've ever had the privilege of shooting. And to top it off, their videographers, DJ, and MC's were some of the best vendors we've worked with thus far. Not to mention that Chris and Marites were one of our top wedding couples to work with too! We love them :)

Manhattan Beach Wedding Nuptials

Tim & Ashley and Manhattan Beach just went together so perfectly that day. The weather was gorgeous and their friends and family were pumped to see them tying the knot. Ashley was our little Barbie bride who we loved shooting all day. Tim was her Ken... {ahhhhhh}! Brent & Heather’s Laguna Beach Wedding

Brent & Heather just got married yesterday on May 31st, 2009 in Laguna Beach, CA. They have the cutest bridal party, family members, and guests! Everyone was having such a great time. We couldn’t complain because photographing a beach wedding is always fun. The beach was absolutely picturesque and Brent married the prettiest bride! Brent and Heather looked so good they should have been a cake topper. FYI...color choice is important...these are AWESOME colors to photograph together!
